Bethesda United Church of Christ
Bethesda United Church of Christ has packed a lot of history into half a century. As a church, we challenge ourselves and our leaders to be and to do more. We are a church that has left and continues to leave a tangible mark on the surrounding community.

our church
We are a diverse and eclectic group of people at various places on our spiritual journey. We come from a wide range of countries, experiences, family structure, orientations, and backgrounds. We are adjusting to the changes that time thrusts upon us. We come together because we have found a community of support and strength, welcome and love.
our church
It is our love for Christ, for each other, and for the world around us that sends us with hope into our unfolding future.
BUCC creates a safe, flexible and creative worship environment where followers gather together to find their own way to God’s truth.

We seek to put our faith into action. We examine issues facing our world, debate them openly, and take them seriously.

The Service of Confirmation usually takes place in the spring when there are eligible youths. Our minister will be happy to talk with couples who wish to be married at Bethesda UCC. We are an “Open and Affirming” church. We welcome people of every race, language, age, gender, ethnicity, economic status, mental or physical ability, and sexual orientation into the full life and ministry of the church. Please contact the church office for more information or to schedule a time to speak with our minister.
Memorial and funeral services are held to celebrate the life those who have gone before us and to give thanks to God, the Creator, and to affirm the hope we share in Jesus Christ. A memorial garden offers a space where ashes are scattered and a memorial brick is placed. Please contact the church office for more information or to speak with our minister.
